 1:00pm:   All Guard members released from Classes

 1:00pm – 1:45pm: Rehearsal 

 1:45-2:00pm:  Pack and load Bus

 2:00pm:  Depart for Colleyville Heritage HS

 3:00pm: Arrive @ Colleyville Heritage HS, check in, unload

 6:08pm: VARSITY PERFORMANCE!!! GOOD LUCK LADIES!!!

 10:38pm: Retreat/Awards

 11:45pm: Depart Colleyville Heritage HS

 12:30pm: Arrive at TCHS, unload, parent pick-up time

When we are finished performing we will take our floor and crew to an area to fold our floor and pack up our equipment then head back to our area to get our stuff and then head into the gym to watch other guards.

Please bring money for concessions or you may bring your own packed lunch. 

Also bring homework if you need.  Now would be a good time to get me and others to tutor you if you need it. Bring a book if you want in case you get bored watching you can read

8:08pm: Retreat/Awards

9:45pm: Depart Thomas Colliseum

10pm: Arrive at TCHS, unload, parent pick-up time

Great Job Ladies….. Info for this upcoming week

Great Job on Saturday ladies! You all have worked so hard and it showed, we are well on our way for championships. Also thank you to our loyal floor crew of Justin, Taro, Nico and Wooters. You are amazing guys!

Let’s not forget our parents! Thank you parents for being with us and supporting on show days and putting up with a crabby Castelli :-) You all are so wonderful.

Now for business……

Monday is an inservice day so no school but as requested by you wonderful ladies JV will still have rehearsal as scheduled.

Also upon request by you ladies Varsity will have an extra rehearsal on Tuesday afternoon.

Please be prepared to be outside for some of the practice on both days. It’s going to be great weather this week and I think we could use the change of environment.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. See you beautiful ladies on Monday and Tuesday :-)

NOTE:  These days function in the same manner as band contests, rehearsal in the morning then load up and go to contest and then stay for retreat/awards.  I do issue an itinerary prior to the contest day.  For the championships both guards are expected to attend even though only one Guard will compete on their respective days.

Saturday 1/26 - McKinney Boyd HS

Saturday 2/2 – Aledo HS

Saturday 2/16 - Saginaw HS

Saturday 3/2 - Coppell HS

Saturday 3/23 - JV (Regional A) Championships @ Richland HS (THOMAS COLLISEUM)

Friday 4/5 - Varsity (Scholastic AAA) Championship @ Colleyville Heritage High School

 

Other Dates:

 

§  Rehearsals

o   Varsity = Thursdays  4:00p-6:45p (includes clean up time)

o   J.V = Mondays 4:00pm – 6:45pm (includes clean up time)

§  Please keep in mind we may call additional rehearsals or adjust our schedule a little. 

 

Uniforms:

Varsity – Will reuse their marching shoes (black jazz shoes) and black gloves

J.V – Will need ballet slippers, if own a pair then you may use those if not we will purchase them with uniforms and nude gloves (for weapons girls only) which will be additional charge of $8.

Fees: $130

 

For each member regardless of group and it will include their uniforms and T-shirt. Money is due ASAP please as we have already started the process for uniforms  

Information for this week

Hello Ladies,

Well our competition season has officially started!  I would like to say thank you to all of your for your hard work on Saturday. I am so proud of you and I’m so happy to be working with you ladies.  Lets keep working hard and have a wonderful season!

With that note I would like to hold an additional rehearsal for JV to help us recoup some of our lost time on Friday after school until 6pm.  

We will still hold our Monday rehearsal as usual but also have one on Friday.
